Butterfly effect

2,000 $

There are many versions of me, and none feel familiar. I try to love who I am, but I don’t understand her. Sometimes I fear her, sometimes I hate her. I’m an alien to my own mind. Three balloon-selfs float apart, scissors cut thread and hair — symbols of transformation or escape. Butterflies hover like ghosts of the past, or maybe pieces of light I once had. Fish skeletons hunt the biggest butterfly — the fragile self I try to protect. Medium: Mixed media on canvas Dimensions: 85×80 cm Year: 2025
